The dance on the water mirror was created by light and fountain designers Jean-Max Llorca,Pierre Gangloff and Jérôme Donna, in collaboration with the city of Bordeaux. Their objective was to celebrate the opening of the Bordeaux water mirror. Since then, the dance on the water mirror has become a popular tourist attraction in the city.

2. The Bordeaux water mirror

The Bordeaux water mirror was designed by Michel Corajoud and inaugurated in 2006. It is located on the banks of the Garonne and offers a breathtaking view of the city. The water mirror is also equipped with water jets that rise and fall, creating a unique visual spectacle. It is open to the public free of charge all year round.

3. Performances of the dance on the water mirror

The performances of the dance on the water mirror are produced by the Bordeaux contemporary dance company, Arcosm. The dancers perform on a 120 square meter floating stage in the middle of the water mirror. The performances are accompanied by music specially composed by the Bordeaux composer, Christophe Chassol.
